The 2026 NOON audit standards have been fine-tuned, and some of the information requirements are more stringent than before. Today, instead of simply listing the list, we will talk about the format requirements, common errors and precautions of each piece of information item by item to help you pass the audit at once.

01 Business License

Formatting requirements:

• Must be an enterprise business license (self-employment is not supported)
• High resolution scans with all four corners intact and unobstructed are required
• Valid for more than 6 months

Common Errors:

• ❌ Individual business license submitted (outright refusal)
• ❌ Scans are fuzzy, missing corners, and obscured by watermarks
• ❌ The business license is about to expire.

Translation notarization:

• English translation required
• Some scenarios require notarized translations (from an accredited translation agency)
• The company name on the translation must be the same as the name of the account from which the money is to be received.

Special attention: The scope of business on your business license affects the category review, and if the scope of business is too far removed from the category you want to sell, additional clarification may be required.

02 Corporate documents

Passport (preferred):

• Valid for more than 6 months
• Provide a scanned copy of the front page (with photo and personal information page)
• Passport name must be the same as the legal person in the business license

Identity card (optional):

• Some sellers only have ID cards, not passports
• ID cards can be used for the application, but an additional notarized translation is required
• This increases review time and risk of rejection

Common Errors:

• ❌ Passport valid for less than 6 months
• ❌ Identity card submitted without notarized translation
• ❌ Mismatch between legal person information and business license

Recommendation: If the legal person does not have a passport, apply for a passport as early as possible, or prepare a notarized translation of the ID card in advance.

03 Receiving accounts

Supported collection tools:

The most critical rule: The name of the receiving account must be exactly the same as the English name of the business license.

Common Errors:

• ❌ Collections on personal account (must be on business account)
• ❌ The account name uses an acronym instead of the full name on the business license.
• ❌ Submitting a move-in request before your account is open

Recommendation: Open a collection account first and confirm that the account name is correct before submitting the entry information.

04 Product List

Basic requirements:

• Provide a list of products to be shelved (number of SKUs, categories, brand information)
• Images need to be clear and conform to NOON image specifications
• Some categories need to provide certification documents (consumer electronics need GCC certification, toys need safety certification, etc.)

Common Errors:

• ❌ Products containing Saudi/UAE embargoed items (alcohol, pork-related, religiously sensitive products)
• ❌ Branded products do not provide trademark authorization
• ❌ Product images do not meet NOON specifications (background color, size, watermark, etc.)

Recommendation: Check each item against NOON's embargo list and category restrictions prior to submission.

05 Arabic language materials

Which must be in Arabic:

• Listing Title and Description (provided at time of listing)
• Some consumer-facing customer service tactics

Which can be English:

• Seller's backstage interface
• Communication with NOON Officials
• Finance and settlement-related documents

Common Errors:

• ❌ Listing is directly in English, not available in Arabic (significantly reduced exposure)
• ❌ Machine-translated straight to the shelves, poor quality leading to high return rates

Recommendation: Listing's Arabic translation is recommended to find a professional translation team, machine translation + human proofreading is the minimum standard.
